Window design from visualisation to implementation…

I worked with the fantastic team at Finisterre to design and develop a Christmas window for nine stores across the UK. The brief was to design a window to tell a story of ethical and thoughtful gift giving whilst using no ‘single use plastics’, fully recycled and recyclable elements.

Ideas were visualised along with key product for brand sign off before sourcing all display items and specifying sizes and quantities bespoke to each window space. The natural garlands were made from sustainable and ethically sourced foliage, home grown and hand made on the Tregothnan Estate in Cornwall.

The team and I then prototyped the window to check ease of installation along with product grouping tests, before creating a comprehensive installation guide for store teams to ensure smooth and easy implementation.

I also provided additional support to the key London store by implementing the window display and instore display elements.

A carefully considered Christmas with as little impact on the planet as possible.
